Ionic Vs Metallic Colloidal Silver

From the table, it can be seen that increasing particle sizes not only decreases the number of particles for a given amount of silver, but also decreases the number of exposed silver atoms. For instance just doubling the particle size from 10nm to 20nm decreases the number of particles by a factor of eight. Is it any wonder that smaller metallic particles work better? Many sources claim that smaller particles are more effective because they have more surface area. This is not logical if one particle can kill one pathogen as has been shown with photomicrographs. This author believes that the real reason is simply that smaller particles means that there are more of them for a given weight of silver. More particles equals a higher chance that a silver particle will encounter a pathogen and kill it.On a one to one basis of particle counts, metallic silver is far more efficient at killing pathogens than ionic silver with much less risk of causing Argyria. Also, the particle size of metallic silver is very important in that it determines how many particles are available for killing pathogens. Based on the findings of scientific research, there is no benefit to consuming ionic silver, and it is actually detrimental as it exhibits significant toxicity to normal cells. Metallic silver is effective against most bacteria

‘I’ll be taking big doses for a month or so, and normal amounts for probably the next several months after that.’

Thank you.

Avoid Arginine Take Lysine Moxa

I was plagued with shingles for years until I found out that I really had Lyme Disease with herpes 6 as one of the coinfections. Finally doing well with a few small outbreaks here and there if I eat foods with too much arginine and don’t take enough lysine to compensate. Two grams of lysine 3x per day is as effective as Rx to supress the virus. Also, I notice a difference in my tendons, they make a clicking sound as if they are too tight, just before an outbreak. If I up the dose Lysine at the first click, no rash develops. Moxa is very effective in halting the outbreak of rash and stopping the itch/pain instantly heat the area with a moxa stick to a “zing” sensation 3 times for instant relief. Search: “Canadian Lyme Assoc Symptoms” and “arginine foods”. All my fave foods were loaded with arginine. Good luck!

How and where did you get this specific of testing done? I can’t find a Dr.willing to test my mother for anything this investigative/ detailed. Thanks

Bee Venom

Hi everyone, I just want to share with you an information about the bee venom and Lyme disease. The Bee venom contains a peptide called Melittin and this peptide has shown to have a very potent antimicrobial activity against Borrelia. spp as well as Candida spp and mycobacteria spp. I don’t know if there is a remedy using the bee venom but it seems promising as an alternative for the sufferer with Lyme disease.

I hope this post helps someone else as it helps me.

God bless

Setting The Stage For Chronic Inflammation

Though the immune system plays a key role in protecting cells of the body from microbe invasion, the health of cells is also a major player. When cells become chronically stressed, they are more susceptible to being invaded by intracellular bacteria and other microbes. There are five primary categories of factors that weaken cells and set the stage for the chronic inflammation associated with Lyme disease.

#1. Poor diet

When cells arent fed properly, they cant function properly. Processed foods sourced from grains, beans, and grain-fed meat are overloaded with raw carbohydrates and refined fats that disrupt cellular functions. On the other hand, theyre deficient in the nutrients that cells need to function properly. Poorly nourished cells cant properly defend themselves against microbes.

#2. A toxic environment

In the modern world, chronic exposure to low levels of toxic substances and free radicals in food, water, and air is hard to avoid. The list includes man-made toxins associated with petroleum products, free-radicals in processed food, and natural toxins such as mold. In addition, the acid and free radicals associated with inflammation are highly toxic to cells. Toxic substances disrupt cellular processes, damage internal working parts of the cells, and weaken cell membranes. Weakened cells are more vulnerable to microbe invasion.

#3. Chronic stress

#4. Physical stress

#5. Microbes

Resources On How To Heal Lyme Disease Naturally

Pin on Hair & Beauty

Lyme disease isnt something Ive dealt with personally and I havent done much studying done on it as of yet. But I wanted to get together a good article for resources for people trying to learn more about this insidious disease, especially as it is supposed to be a very bad year for ticks. It is possible to heal though, and I know many that are beating Lymes butt naturally and successfully.

Updated 3/2019: I started reading quite a bit more about Lyme and co a few months ago when I learned that I likely have Bartonella myself. I personally am comfortable with Buhners information on the herbs and how to typically treat these infections, as long as they are coupled with good foundational care.

Early Detection & Immediate Prevention Is Key

Begin by making your environment and your body inhospitable to ticks and the pathogens they harbor.

  • Perform tick checks on yourself and your children daily.
  • If you find a tick, properly remove it, send it off for testing.
  • Immediately, begin prophylactic herbal immune balancers, herbal anti- inflammatories, and herbal antimicrobials to prevent infection of the pathogens that cause Lyme disease and co-infections.
  • When you receive the tick testing results, add the proper prescription antibiotics or antiparasitics if necessary while remaining on the herbals.

Continue this for four to six weeks or as prescribed by your physician, and seek the care of a qualified Lyme literate specialist for further guidance.

Herbal Pain Relief For Joints And Muscles:

One of the most debilitating symptoms of Lyme disease is the amount of physical pain that it can cause. Considering that the symptoms of Lyme can last anywhere from weeks to years, it has become very important to find natural pain management options.

For nerve pain, curcumin found in turmeric, St. Johns wort and Skullcap are highly recommended by natural therapists.

The all-natural herbal options detailed below, date back far beyond modern medicine and each has a range of medicinal properties.

We Have Also Learned That Once A Tick Bites The Saliva Further Decreases Normal Immune Function By Slowing Blood Coagulation And Other Aspects Of Wound Healing

This way, the tick can continue to feed for a longer period, while also transmitting higher loads of Borrelia in the process . Together, the tick saliva and Borrelia further manipulate the biochemistry of the body to degrade connective tissue. Collagen is rich in nutrients that nourish Borrelia, so the bacteria tends to migrate to areas high in collagenlike joints in order to feed themselves and reproduce . This ultimately makes the collagen-dense connective tissue in the body an ideal place to host bacteria and let Lyme disease thrive.

Natural Treatments For Lyme Disease In Dogs

Lyme, and many of its co-infections, are common in companion animals, although Lyme can infect nearly all animals on the planet. A number of people, concerned about their pets, and exasperated at the lack of progress by their vets, reported good success once they began using the protocol I developed for people on their dogs .

So, I want to share it with you too.

Here are 6 natural treatment options for Lyme disease in dogs.

Generally, improvements begin to occur within two to four weeks.

Please note that all of the herbs can be given simultaneously and all the herbs may be used along with antibiotics. Also, if your dog is very small, use smaller doses, if larger use more. The doses I am giving here are for a medium sized dog. And yes, you can use liquid formulations as well. I just prefer to use the herbs themselves.

Healthy Vs Weak Cells

How all this plays out is a function of the health of cells as much as the aggressiveness of the bacteria: Cells that are weak from being chronically stressed are more vulnerable to invasion by bacteria.

A healthy person with healthy cells who is bitten by a tick may not have much in the way of acute symptoms and may never develop chronic symptoms. It doesnt mean, however, that the bacteria have been eradicated from the body. They can stay dormant in tissues for a lifetime.

All it takes is a shift in the health of cells for dormant bacteria to surface and invade more cells. The immune system scrambles to keep a lid on things as bacteria erupt and infect other cells. Dead cells break apart and create debris. Macrophages secrete acid and free radicals to break down debris. Reinforcements are called in. More acid. More free radicals. More collateral damage. More debris. Flow of nutrients and oxygen is obstructed and cells are weakened even further.

The invasion intensifies as more cells are infected. Along with inflicting injury to cells in tissues, bacteria infect and kill WBCs. In addition, bacteria throw the immune system off balance by disrupting the cytokines the immune system uses to coordinate the resistance. As the process spirals out of control, the immune system loses the capacity to keep microbes in check.

Before long, tissues throughout the body start to look like a war zone. Cells suffer. Symptoms result. It becomes a never-ending cycle of misery.

What Is Lyme Disease

Lyme disease is triggered by an infection brought on by bacteria called Borrelia burgdorferi. You may start out feeling like you’ve woken up with a bad case of the flu. But, if time goes on, and the condition is left untreated, you could wind up experiencing a lot of long-term effects.

The Borrelia burgdorferi bacterial species that infects a person with Lyme is of the spirochete class. Spirochetes are flexible spirally microbes that actually dig holes in your tissue. The Lyme disease symptoms that arise are due to an inflammatory process.

Most cases of Lyme can be cured, but some people continue having symptoms even after antibiotic treatment. This is known as post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome or chronic Lyme disease.

Oils from garlic and several other common herbs and medicinal plants show strong activity against the bacterium that causes Lyme disease, according to a study by researchers at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. These oils may be especially useful in alleviating Lyme symptoms that persist despite standard antibiotic treatment, the study also suggests.

The study, published October 16 in the journal Antibiotics, included lab-dish tests of 35 essential oils oils that are pressed from plants or their fruits and contain the plants main fragrance, or essence. The Bloomberg School researchers found that 10 of these, including oils from garlic cloves, myrrh trees, thyme leaves, cinnamon bark, allspice berries and cumin seeds, showed strong killing activity against dormant and slow-growing persister forms of the Lyme disease bacterium.

We found that these essential oils were even better at killing the persister forms of Lyme bacteria than standard Lyme antibiotics, says study senior author Ying Zhang, MD, PhD, professor in the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the Bloomberg School.

Stevia Kills Lyme Pathogen: New Study

Herbal extracts are also useful for fighting infections and relieving the symptoms of Lyme disease. These include:

  • Cats claw fights pathogens
  • Astragalus a pathogen-fighting remedy used in traditional Chinese medicine
  • Grapefruit seed extract can be used topically to relieve itching
  • Rhodiola another adaptogen that helps the body adapt to stress and recover from fatigue
  • Japanese Knotweed directly fights Lyme bacteria.

Colloidal silver is another remedy used for Lyme disease, but has mixed reviews, with some experts hailing it as the most effective option out there whereas others warn of its potential dangers.

A study published in the European Journal of Microbiology and Immunology looked at Stevia whole leaf extract as an agent for fighting Lyme disease bacteria. So far, the results are hopeful, although more conclusive research studies are still needed.

Stevia is a natural sweetener that contains numerous phytochemicalssuch as austroinulin, beta-carotene, dulcoside A, nilacin, rebaudi oxides, riboflavin, steviol, stevioside, and tiamin, all of which have strong antimicrobial propertiesand is being researched as a potentially stronger alternative to antibiotics.

The ability of stevia whole leaf extract to fight all the different morphological forms of Lyme bacteria make it capable of reaching areas where bacteria often hide from more typical antibacterial treatments, therefore, it may be a promising alternative.

How Do I Treat Lyme Disease Naturally

Some people may choose home remedies and natural treatments to help treat Lyme disease. Certain lifestyle changes may help symptoms from worsening or recurring. Many natural supplements are not approved by the FDA. Here are some popular home and natural remedies for Lyme disease:

  • Taking a natural supplement Many supplements are thought to have immune-boosting qualities. Top supplements for Lyme disease include vitamin B-1, vitamin C, and chlorella. The FDA doesnt regulate supplements as drugs to treat Lyme disease, so speak with a doctor about them before starting treatment.
  • Using essential oils Some essential oils are known for their antibacterial properties. Oregano and cinnamon bark essential oils are highly antibacterial they would have to be mixed with a carrier oil and applied topically. However, more evidence is needed on the use of essential oils for Lyme disease in humans.
  • Eating an anti-inflammatory diet Lyme disease symptoms are often rooted from inflammation in the body. Avoiding foods that can cause more inflammation, such as sugar, coffee, or processed foods, may help. Fresh fruits and vegetables are believed to have anti-inflammatory benefits.
  • Seeking acupuncture treatmentAcupuncture can potentially relieve symptoms associated with Lyme disease such as pain, sleeplessness, and stress.
  • Reducing stressYou can reduce stress by exercising, sleeping more, meditating, or spending time with friends and family.
