The Cozy Nest Cottages are a small group of cottages located across the street from the Niantic River in East Lyme, Connecticut. The cottages are secluded, on a dead endstreet, and border the Oswegatchie Hills, one of the last stretches of pristine woods on the Connecticut coastline. There is no beach at this location, but there is a small boat launch that is greatfor kayaks and canoes.
Our location is quiet and private, yet convenient to I-95 and to the area’s many attractions. East Lyme is a lively, vibrant area of the Connecticut shoreline with lotsto do. Picturesque downtown Niantic, complete with shops and a movie theater is just a few miles down the road. Great restaurants, beaches, parks, activities for kids, and cultural attractionsabound. See our “Local Links” page for a sampling of the things to see and do in our area.
We have owned the cottages since 2004 and live on-site. We have been steadily updating them. Unlike most rental properties, we are licensed and inspected annually by the town ofEast Lyme.
