This means a person could contract a tick-borne illness despite receiving antibiotic prophylaxis for their known tick bite.

My initial Lyme treatment looked like a whole lot of antibioticsdoxycycline, plus two others that were supposedly beneficial for combating common Lyme co-infections. And this was fine with me.
