The Cozy Nest Cottages are a small group of cottages located across the street from the Niantic River in East Lyme, Connecticut. The cottages are secluded, on a dead endstreet, and border the Oswegatchie Hills, one of the last stretches of pristine woods on the Connecticut coastline. There is no beach at this location, but there is a small boat launch that is greatfor kayaks and canoes.
Our location is quiet and private, yet convenient to I-95 and to the areas many attractions. East Lyme is a lively, vibrant area of the Connecticut shoreline with lotsto do. Picturesque downtown Niantic, complete with shops and a movie theater is just a few miles down the road. Great restaurants, beaches, parks, activities for kids, and cultural attractionsabound. We have owned the cottages since 2004 and live on-site. We have been steadily updating them. Unlike most rental properties, we are licensed and inspected annually by the town ofEast Lyme.

Our cottages are fully furnished and updated with kitchens or kitchenettes, a/c, wifi access, and streaming TV. Each one is a little different.

Clean Great Property Close To Beach
This property has quite a bit of space and is great for two couples or a family. We were in town for the USCGA graduation and it was convenient. Huge back yard with lots of outside seating and two tables, fire pit and gas grill. Great for having bbq with family and lots of extra chairs. House was very clean and stocked well with all cookware. Refrigerator has an ice maker which was a plus! House is well stocked with towels and hand soap. You may want to bring your own bath soap. We enjoyed the Keurig each morning to make coffee. Also this house has two huge living room areas. Lots of bikes to take into beach. We stopped by Kokomos for some food and drinks. Right on the beach and close to the house! Grocery stores are a 15 minute drive from the house. There is a mini mart fairly close to the house for quick shopping. Neighbors are friendly and neighborhood is quiet.

Wonderful Cottage Kid Friendly
We stayed two weeks and we loved it. Although it has 1 bathroom, it has an outside shower where everyone took off the sand. My favorite restaurant Kokomos is on the beach. When all windows and doors are open, we get a nice cool breeze from the ocean. Lovely at night. The house is nice and clean. The family played Badmiton in the huge yard. There is a Gas station, mini mart and pizzeria within 5 mins. I recommend to all *****
